Job Summary:

The Millwork Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of millwork projects from inception to completion. This includes planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and on-site supervision. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in millwork, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead a team to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

• Meet with clients to discuss project requirements, specifications, and budgets.
• Conduct site assessments and take accurate measurements.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Design and Documentation:

• Collaborate with designers and engineers to create detailed drawings and plans.
• Review and approve design plans with clients.
• Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.

Procurement and Logistics:

• Source and order materials, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Manage inventory and ensure all materials are on-site as needed.

Project Execution:

• Oversee the installation of millwork components, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Supervise on-site activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks.

Budget and Schedule Management:

• Monitor project progress against the timeline and budget.
• Address any issues or changes in scope promptly.
• Prepare and present progress reports to clients and senior management.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and motivate project teams, including carpenters, installers, and subcontractors.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities and ensure clear communication among team members.
• Provide training and support as needed.

Client Relations:

• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
• Conduct final walkthroughs with clients and ensure their satisfaction with the completed work.
• Gather feedback and handle any post-completion issues.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in millwork project management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of millwork processes, materials, and best practices.
• Proven experience in managing budgets and schedules.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as required.
