Job Responsibility:
Overview: We are seeking a skilled bartender/supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for our guests, as well as experience in a supervisory role.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following MR MIKES standard recipes
- Interact with guests, take orders, and provide knowledgeable recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed
- Adhere to Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines and procedures
- Adhere to all food safety and beverage handling procedures
- Supervise Front of House staff and handle guest complaints/concerns
- Complete end-of-day/closing procedures, including daily cash reconciliation and cleaning duties
Experience:
- Previous bartending experience is preferred
- Previous foodservice supervisory experience is an asset
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills and outgoing personality
- Strong communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor
- Evening and weekend availability
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work well unsupervised
- Leadership skills
- Knowledge of MS Office and Squirrel POS is an asset
- Valid Serving It Right certification
- FoodSafe and First Aid/CPR certification is an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.40-$18.25 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
