MEI Secondary School is seeking qualified applicants for the following teaching position with the intended start date of September 2, 2026 .

Mathematics/Career Life Education (1.0 FTE) – UPDATED
Full-time temporary position for the first semester, with an intended start date of September 2nd, 2026, to January 28th, 2027.
- Mathematics 9 (two blocks)
- Foundations of Math & Pre-Calculus 10 (one block)
- Career Life Education 10 (one block)
The successful applicant will possess a valid teaching certificate and relevant education and experience in math.
This position will remain open until filled, with the first round of interviews expected to begin on July 6th, 2026 .
The annual salary for each teacher position is determined by qualifications and experience for placement on the MEI Teacher Salary Grid. For the 2026-2027 school year, a full-time BC Certified Teacher salary (with a certificate of qualification from the BC Ministry of Education and Childcare and with a university degree and a professional teacher education program) ranges from $69,050 to $113,295
