Marketing & Project Coordination Assistant Location: Hybrid (1 day/week at Merridale Farm, rest remote) Hours: Part-time with potential for additional hours

About the Role: We're looking for a highly organized, kind, and proactive individual to support our marketing team and help keep projects moving forward. As our Marketing & Project Coordination Assistant , you'll help ensure timelines are met, tasks are followed through, and team communication flows smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone with a love of planning and a desire to grow in a supportive, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities: Project & Event Coordination
- Track marketing and project tasks using Trello
- Monitor timelines and check in with team members when due dates approach or pass
- Keep management informed of project progress and flag any concerns
- Help coordinate and execute on-site and off-site events (e.g., promotions, ticketing, logistics, wrap-ups)
- Maintain marketing calendars, content libraries, and shared plans
Marketing & Content Support
- Assist with the planning and promotion of events for customers and partners
- Support product launches with materials like signage, social media posts, and email content
- Help update website pages and draft marketing copy
- Proofread digital and print materials to ensure consistency and quality
- Ensure brand standards are maintained across all platforms
Digital & Social Media
- Create and schedule content for social media (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Respond to customer comments and reviews with professionalism and care
- Capture simple photos or video clips and create graphics using tools like Canva
- Assist with basic SEO updates and content support
You'll Excel in This Role If You:
- Love organizing projects from start to finish and helping others stay on track
- Have strong communication skills and enjoy working with a team
- Can juggle multiple tasks without losing your cool
- Are comfortable checking in with others, offering help, and reporting back to leadership
- Have experience with tools like Trello, Square, Tock, Klaviyo, Microsoft Word/Excel, or are eager to learn
- Are detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and ready to roll up your sleeves
