What youll be doing

As part of the CIBCs Global Asset Management Technology team the Senior Consultant Business Systems Analysis will be responsible for providing advice and consultation for business application developments to ensure growth. The role provides technical leadership interpreting complex information and participating in client business review sessions to influence decisions regarding the use of technology to support objectives. The Senior Consultant Business Systems Analysis develops recommends and facilitates activities required for the application of new technologies to support existing processes and client needs. The role provides expertise to project managers coordinators and directors on technology functionality and utilization utilizing a solid understanding of business dynamics. The role independently resolves a variety of ambiguous challenges with organization-wide impacts devising new methods using strong analytic and inductive thinking.

How youll succeed

• Understanding and Documenting Requirements - Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Build strong relationships lead discussions listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements. Primarily working with Rates desk but since it is a cross asset risk management platform they will opportunities working on other asset classes as well.

• Solution Design - Build client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification solution requirements and quality assurance.

• Leading and Mentoring Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals. Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational operational and process problems.

Who you are

• You can demonstrate experience with: 3-4 years in a BSA in a BSC role leading projects and designing solutions . With the ability to elicit requirements and write strong documentation. Excellent abilities to manage stakeholders and having strong communication skills is a must. You have strong abilities around analyzing and understanding data as well as gap analysis expertise. You have working knowledge on Azure data warehouse Databricks and proficient with SQL queries data structure design in data modelling Business Intelligence tool such as Power BI Alteryx and Excel pivot tables Visio and other Microsoft office applications. You have strong problem solving skills stakeholder management abilities and exceptional organizational skills.

• Its an asset if you have good understanding on investment products such as mutual funds ETF Personal Portfolio Service (PPS) and GIC.
