Senior Electrical Engineer Building Systems

Apply electrical engineering leadership to prefabricated building systems at Orbital Industries, integrating design standards, manufacturer coordination, and AI workflows. The Electrical Engineer develops scalable systems for mission-critical modular deployments, including power, communications, and life safety. You will set standard designs, coordinate external stakeholders and future production personnel, and ensure deliverables satisfy client requirements, codes, safety, performance, and manufacturability. Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, and associated tools support the full lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:
Set electrical system architecture and repeatable design standardsTest AI applications within engineering workflowsUnderstand client requirements affecting design and implementationProduce single-lines, installation layouts, floorplans, and schedulesCoordinate switchgear, UPS, generators, meters, and devicesRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalentP.Eng. or ability to obtain requiredFive or more years in building system electrical designWorking knowledge of relevant electrical standards and codesExperience with Autodesk suite and SKM or equivalentLead manufacturable electrical design for modular AI infrastructure through system architecture, standards, analysis, and supplier coordination.
