Job Description
- Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion within the mining sector(Copper mining).
- Develop and implement project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives align with company goals.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and stakeholders (EPCM).
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders(EPCM) to manage expectations and ensure project satisfaction.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and innovative solutions.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Project Engineer should have:
- A degree in engineering or a related field.
- Proven expertise in project management within the mining industry.
- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders(EPCM).
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- A commitment to adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
- A results-driven approach with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
