Job classification : P2083 - Business Development Manager

Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000. Placement within the range is typically based upon a review of skills, experience, and internal equity. 

Hours per week: 37.5

Paid leave: 4 Weeks Vacation / 14 Flex Days per year

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Member Engagement & Projects role is responsible for delivering member-focused programs, funded projects, and strategic initiatives that advance ABIE's mandate and priorities. The role serves as a key liaison for member post-secondary institutions and external stakeholders, ensuring exceptional service delivery, strong relationship management, and successful execution of grants, scholarships, and revenue-generating initiatives.

This position plays a key role in strengthening member engagement, expanding partnerships, and enhancing ABIE's products and services. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, the incumbent leverages data-driven insights, project management expertise, and stakeholder engagement strategies to support organizational growth and the advancement of international education in Alberta. Success in the role requires business acumen, sound judgment, diplomacy, cultural awareness, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across local and global networks.
