Job description:

Frederictons Health Source is a busy well-established chiropractic and wellness clinic committed to helping our community move feel and live better. We are seeking a positive friendly professional and highly organized Chiropractic Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team. You will play a vital role in patient care implementing treatment plans leading patients through their prescribed rehab protocols.

About the Role

The Chiropractic Assistant works directly with patients to support their recovery by carrying out Rehab Exercises and being cross trained at the front desk to book appointments help schedule and collect payments (assistant the full time administration). This role includes guiding patients through prescribed rehab protocols operating the Spinal Decompression Table Class 4 Laser Orthotics screening performing a stability movement screen. The Assistant plays an essential part in helping patients improve mobility reduce pain and progress toward their treatment goals in a supportive clinical environment. Having a positive and friendly attitude is a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching and leading functional movements and therapeutic exercises (by using physioballs free weights bands and yoga blocks as well as just body weight)
• Operating the Spinal Decompression table
• Providing Laser therapy
• Scanning patients feet for orthotics using our 3D pin system
• Creating and adapting protocols as patients progress through their treatment plan
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Able to be on your feet
• Be present and involved in our weekly Tuesday staff training
• Updating charts exercises and therapy logs

What Were Looking For

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive and upbeat excited personality to help with patient care
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Degree in Kinesiology a huge asset
• Previous chiropractic experience is an asset

Current Hours we are looking for help:
Tuesday 9-12:00 and 1:30-6:30
Thursday 8-1 and 2-7
Friday 9-12

September full time hours start Tuesday to Friday (36-38 hours a week)

Compensation: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
