Lead the Finance function at Walter Capital Management in Westmount, Montreal. This Vice President role involves strategic finance management and team development within a dynamic investment firm.
As Vice President of Finance, you will report directly to the COO and maintain a dotted-line relationship with the CEO of WCM. You will oversee the finance and accounting team while shaping the shared-services strategy that supports the Walter Group. This role requires a blend of financial expertise and the ability to drive performance in a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead general accounting and financial reporting functions - Mentor and develop the finance and accounting team - Conduct financial analysis for profit, trends, and budgets - Coordinate external audits and implement recommendations - Manage treasury, liquidity, and cash flow projections
Requirements: - 10 to 15 years of progressive finance experience - Strong FP&A and financial-planning background - Experience managing and developing finance teams - Bilingual in French and English - Familiarity with BI tools and ERP systems
