Position Summary:

Leyad is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to support our finance team with day-to-day data entry and administrative tasks in Yardi , our property management and accounting platform. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting within the real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter invoices, receipts, journal entries, and other financial data into Yardi Voyager .

• Assist with bank reconciliations and account coding.

• Help maintain accurate records of financial transactions across multiple properties.

• Support the accounting team with data clean-up, reporting, and document management.

• Ensure compliance with internal data entry standards and filing protocols.

• Communicate with internal departments to verify financial information as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

• Familiarity with accounting principles and financial systems.

• Experience with Yardi or other accounting software is an asset.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.

• Bilingual (French and English) is a strong asset.
