ORGANIZATION

Based in Toronto, Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits is a Canadian charity, 100% volunteer-led that provides management consulting to improve organizational capacity and community impact for non-profits that otherwise cannot afford professional consulting.

ROLE

Endeavour is looking for a volunteer to join the IT Division as IS Administrator (Salesforce). In this role, you will be responsible for the administration of the Salesforce application. You will work as part of the IS team dedicated to ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and leveraging the full features and benefits of the Salesforce application.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform day-to-day administration of Salesforce including but not limited to user access, backup, update management, data integrity, security configuration and performance
  • Perform mass uploads of data as approved by the Director, Information Systems
  • Provide subject matter expertise to help IT Support Analysts resolve end user issues
  • Act as an escalation point for issues that require elevated access for Salesforce
  • Work with the VP and Director, Information Systems to ensure successful completion of upgrades, enhancements and integrations
  • As required, provide day-to-day end user support to ensure coverage

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Long-term commitment (1-2+ years) to Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits
  • Interest in non-profit sector
  • Understanding of the general concepts of Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • 2 or more years of Salesforce administration experience
  • Salesforce Administrator certification is desirable but not mandatory
  • Ability to take a lead on identifying and implementing new initiatives
  • Ability to collaborate and deliver results in a virtual work environment
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences, to understand user requirements and suggest solutions based on diverse stakeholder’s needs
  • Detail oriented and self-starter with strong written and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill

Preferred

  • Endeavour volunteer experience
  • Understanding of client relationship management platforms
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace
