• Oversee Compliance: The Supervisor must verify that all technical and regulatory obligations related to environmental, social, health, and safety aspects are strictly adhered to by the Contractor;
• Non-Compliance Reporting: The Supervisor must promptly identify and report any non-compliance issues to the Contractor, demanding immediate corrective actions to rectify any deficiencies, errors, or omissions that do not invalidate the contract;
• Non-Conformity Tracking: The Supervisor must document all non-conformities, notify the Employer, and track their closure;
• Progress Reporting: The Supervisor must incorporate all findings and their status into the progress reports, including incidents reports;
• The Supervisor must conduct on-site safety visits and ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Your profile

• University education in occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, environmental health and safety, or any related field;
• 5 years of experience as a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Specialist on infrastructure construction projects;
• Knowledge of laws and regulations governing occupational health and safety in construction;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Bilingualism required (French and English);
• Proficiency in Spanish is an asset;
• Strong customer service skills, courtesy and professionalism;
• Initiative, autonomy, and discretion.
