Snow Removal Technician/Operator

Groveco Site Management is property maintenance company based in Regina, SK. We provide services including groundskeeping, snow removal, property inspection, and waste disposal. Our goal is to create strong client relationships by delivering our services with competency and consistency.

We are currently seeking 1 full time snow removal operator for commercial properties. Primary duties are related to safe and efficient snow and ice clearing from walks, driveways, and parking lots. Operators must be available any time a snow or ice event occurs.

Responsibilities:
-Perform both manual and equipment-assisted snow removal duties efficiently and thoroughly, while adhering to oral and mapped directions on removal and dumping.
-Operate trucks and loaders with mounted snowplows or pushers safely and effectively.
-Keep accurate records of hours and work completed, equipment usage and inspection, used materials, service logs, site hazards, and weather.
-Conduct pre-shift inspections and maintenance on all vehicles and equipment.
-Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe, responsible and efficient manner.
-Adherence to established internal and external policies and procedures.

Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent education.
-Experience in snow and ice removal, and operation of related equipment including trucks and tractors, skid steer, and ride-on blowers or sweepers.
-Physical ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods, lift loads of 50lbs or more repeatedly, and walk or stand for extended periods.
-Valid drivers' license and/or equipment operators' certificate(s), and ability to provide your own transportation.
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team.
-Strong communication skills.
