Night Yard Jockey

Position: CDL Class A Overnight Yard Jockey (Protrans Logistics   at Irving Tissue)
Location: Fort Edward, NY
Pay: $33.29/hr (Overnight Shift)
Schedule: 2 nights on, 2 nights off, 3 nights on, 2 nights off
Shift Hours: 5:30 PM – 5:30 AM (12-hour shifts)

What You’ll Do:
• Safely maneuver and position trailers within the yard and designated dock areas
• Perform daily inspections on trucks, trailers, and yard equipment
• Maintain communication with shipping and receiving teams to support site operations
• Enter production areas when needed to assist with tasks such as slabbing damaged rolls or placing material in designated bins
• Follow all site safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Support the team with a professional, positive attitude

What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Yard Driver
• Valid  CDL Class A license
•  Clean driving abstract
• Ability to perform physical duties: lifting, bending, climbing, pushing, and pulling
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Dependable, team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts
