Director Global Ai Program Strategy

Lead Manulife’s global AI program strategy and governance in a hybrid Toronto role, connecting funding, delivery, adoption, and measurable outcomes.As Director, Global Technology & Operations Strategy & Transformation, you will shape GTO priorities with the VP and senior stakeholders. You will translate strategy into roadmaps, business cases, funding recommendations, and success measures. The role spans AI governance, prioritization, financial management, technical delivery oversight, value realization, and executive reporting.Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end AI and Automation program across GTOEstablish governance, operating rhythms, priorities, dependencies, and outcomesDevelop business cases, funding plans, and allocation recommendationsOversee delivery, adoption, budgets, risks, and value realizationProvide consolidated insights and recommendations to senior leadershipRequirements:
Eight or more years across strategy, transformation, technology, AI, or related disciplinesExperience leading complex, cross-functional AI or transformation programsStrong financial acumen and business case development experienceTechnical fluency across AI platforms and modern solution patternsExceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skillsShape Manulife’s AI agenda through strategic prioritization, disciplined governance, funding leadership, and measurable business outcomes.
