Job Duties:

Follow instruction from Supervisor

Work in a maintenance crew of 2-4 employees

Comply with all health and safety and company polices and procedures

Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization of jobsites, trucks, equipment, and shop/office area

Loading and unloading of trucks and trailers in the AM and PM of all required tools and equipment to reach daily goals

Cut lawn areas, trim edges, clean up debris, blow trimmings, pruning, weeding and perform other landscape care duties

Move and install soil, mulch and plant material to assist with the construction of gardens and to meet deadlines

Operate power equipment including lawn tractors, mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, pruning saws, chain saws, and snow blowers

Inspect all work for quality to eliminate the need for a return visit

Perform routine maintenance duties on tools and equipment such as cleaning and greasing and report and damage

Job Requirements:

Completion of High school, college, university or other technical training

Minimum 3-5 years landscape Foreman experience

Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner

Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines

Knowledge of materials, methods, tools and equipment of landscape maintenance

Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time

Expertise in plant knowledge and care

Possess a valid drivers license

Conditions:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to lift minimum 50lbs repeatedly throughout the entire work day

Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment

Requires excellent stamina

Required to work close to heavy equipment on a regular basis

Required to work outdoors in the sun, heat, humidity, rain, cold, dust and noise.

Rate of Pay:

Depends on experience and qualifications

$24-$30 per hour (or higher depending on experience)
