Drive economic reconciliation with BDC as the Director of Indigenous Relations, integrating community insights in a hybrid work model. Your leadership will empower Indigenous perspectives in strategic decision-making processes. The Director role focuses on enhancing community engagement and embedding Indigenous insights into BDC’s business strategy. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders and a dedicated team, ensuring accountability and representation of Indigenous viewpoints across the organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Build understanding of Indigenous community priorities
- Establish solid relationships with Indigenous stakeholders
- Embed economic reconciliation in enterprise decision-making
- Collaborate across teams for cohesive integration of efforts
- Oversee BDC’s Reconciliation Action Plan execution
- Proven background in Indigenous or government relations
- Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to navigate complex strategic environments
- Strong cooperative and influencing skills
