About the role

As our Customer team grows in size and complexity, we are looking for a Customer Solutions Engineer to support our customers by removing technical friction, solving complex integration challenges, and building end-to-end solutions that help them get the most value out of Landbot.

This is a highly hybrid role — we are looking for someone who combines strong customer-facing and communication skills with a genuine technical background. You will sit at the intersection of Sales, Customer Product, and Engineering, working closely with the Customer team and technical stakeholders to make sure our customers succeed with reliable, well-built, and scalable solutions.

Expect a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same: one day you may be scoping and quoting hours for an end-to-end solution, the next you are troubleshooting a complex API issue, building a custom integration, or writing JavaScript to customize a bot experience. If you are equally comfortable in a customer call and a code editor, this role was made for you.

Key Responsibilities

Client Technical Support

• Deliver an excellent customer experience by applying deep product and technical expertise to resolve complex inquiries from clients and users via chat, email and video calls.

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across APIs, custom embeds, integrations, and product configuration.

• Report software bugs and identify trends across widespread customer issues, sharing findings and feedback with Product and Engineering to help improve the product.

Custom Solutions & Project Delivery

• Conduct high-level technical discovery sessions with clients during product evaluations, proof-of-concept processes, and ongoing projects, engaging with key executive decision-makers to ensure solutions align with their objectives and needs.

• Validate the technical feasibility and requirements of customer projects.

• Scope customer projects and estimate the effort required to deliver end-to-end solutions.

• Build custom solutions using JavaScript, APIs, and external platforms (Cloudflare, Pipedream, n8n, etc.), including ongoing maintenance and support.

Internal Efficiency & Cross-Functional Support

• Create and maintain technical documentation.

• Build internal tools and automations that improve team efficiency and surface insights through analytics/reporting.

• Collaborate with the Sales and Customer Success teams, providing technical expertise on customer projects and supporting pre-sales efforts when needed.

• Support marketing and community efforts through technical content and use-case demonstrations.

Must-have

• 3+ years in a Support Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or similar technical customer-facing role, with strong experience guiding enterprise customers through complex software decisions.

• Strong technical grounding in SaaS, APIs, and enterprise integrations — hands-on experience making requests, reading API documentation, and connecting third-party services, automations, and data flows.

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: enough to understand, adapt, and build lightweight front-end components or customize embedded experiences.

• Experience with dashboards, internal tools, and process documentation.

• Strong hands-on, organized mindset — comfortable prioritizing and managing multiple requests under deadlines in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Fluent in English and Spanish, with eligibility to work in Spain.

• AI fluency - comfortable using AI tools in daily work, with an understanding of how to apply them effectively.

• Builder mindset - has independently designed and built products, tools, or projects end-to-end.

• Experience supporting Sales and Customer Success teams in a SaaS environment.

• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
