Lead mechanical engineering delivery at WSP, applying HVAC design and technical leadership to complex new-build and retrofit projects. Work spans multiple sectors.As a Lead Professional – Mechanical, you will own mechanical scope and coordinate multidisciplinary design activities. You will deliver HVAC, heating and cooling plant, and district energy solutions. The work includes client engagement, technical delivery, construction support, and mentoring without formal people management responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:
Lead mechanical projects from concept through completionDesign HVAC and central heating and cooling plant systemsCoordinate architectural, electrical, structural, and civil teamsReview drawings, specifications, and construction documentationRespond to RFIs and resolve site-related technical issuesRequirements:
Eight to twelve years of professional experienceBachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineeringProfessional Engineer designation and Canadian licensureExperience designing mechanical building systems and HVACProficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft OfficeBring HVAC expertise, multidisciplinary coordination, and hands-on technical leadership to WSP mechanical engineering projects.
