Tasting Room Manager
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and experienced Tasting Room Manager to lead our tasting room operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and hospitality industry, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable and memorable experience while tasting our products.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the tasting room, ensuring a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for all guests.
- Train, supervise, and motivate tasting room staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Develop and implement tasting room programs that enhance guest experiences, including beer or product tastings, educational events, and tours.
- Manage inventory levels of food and beverage offerings, ensuring compliance with food handling regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and special offerings through various channels.
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the tasting room area, adhering to all health regulations.
- Provide weekly reporting to the management

Experience
- Minimum 5 year experience in the hospitality sector, preferably in a management role within a restaurant or tasting room environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to food handling and preparation.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor; ability to engage with guests effectively.
- Bartending experience is a plus, along with familiarity in wine or beverage service.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to achieve operational goals.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
