Hybrid Obsolescence Specialist Role at Thales

Thales is hiring an Obsolescence Specialist to manage software application concerns in a hybrid setting located in Ottawa, Canada. This full-time role involves crucial Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) activities and analysis. You will develop and sustain the Obsolescence Management Plan while investigating high-level software dependencies. The position requires effective planning and documentation management, ensuring all artefacts meet stakeholder requirements. Participate in risk review meetings and implement amendments to maintain project efficiency and compliance. Key Responsibilities:

Manage the implementation of Obsolescence Management Plans
Develop centralized obsolescence information listings
Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams
Document updates and progress tracking
Conduct monthly stakeholder status meetings

Requirements:

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years in ILS activities
Detailed knowledge of software deployment methods
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent relationship management with stakeholders
