At London Transit, our 310T Technicians play a vital role in ensuring our buses move people to their desired destinations comfortably and safely every day. Join our Fleet & Facilities team and help diagnose, troubleshoot and repair our state-of-the-art buses and keep them reliably on our roads providing a great service to our customers!
Current Opportunities
- Afternoons – 3pm to 11pm (rotating weekends)
- Nights – 11pm to 7am (Sunday to Thursday)
Salary:

Afternoon Shift
- $44.14 per hour (earn $55.18 per hour on Sundays)
Night Shift
- $49.14 per hour (includes $5.00 per hour night shift premium. Sunday rate: $61.43)
As per Local 741 ATU Collective Agreement
Training & Licenses:
- Upgrade to the requisite C license provided by London Transit
- Upgrade to the requisite Z endorsement is arranged and paid for by London Transit
- London Transit covers the annual renewal costs of all requisite licenses

Requirements:
- 310T Mechanic License (Licensed Truck & Coach Technician)
- G class Ontario Driver's License (upgrade to C License provided if needed)
- Upgrade to Air Brake (Z) endorsement (training arranged and paid for if needed)
- Related diesel experience (Cummins preferred)
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team environment

Important: At the time of application, you are required to have in your possession the official documents confirming you meet with minimum qualifications of the job. Should a conditional offer of employment be extended to you, all three (3) of the following documents will need to be provided to London Transit:
- Copy of your valid 310T license
- Copy of your valid G class (or higher) Ontario Driver's License
- Police Information Check from the municipality in which applicants reside. If a records check reveals a criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted, the candidate will be not proceed in the selection process for further assessment. Police Information Checks cannot be older than 14 days upon submission.
