Job Description

ARAMARK is recruiting Housekeeping Attendants for its food service operation at Bishop’s University. Join a dynamic team in a stimulating work environment.

Position: General Utility Housekeeping Attendant

Location: Bishop’s University (2600 College Street, Sherbrooke, QC J1M 1Z7)

Salary: $20.00-$22.00/hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: Full-time and part-time positions available (3 hours per day or more, depending on operational needs). Evening and night shifts available and to be discussed during the interview.

Start Date: Immediately

Job Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas according to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Sweep and mop service areas, kitchen areas, and workstations after operating hours.
• Properly maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Clean windows.
• Clean washrooms and restroom facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow safety procedures and basic precautions due to physical hazards and the handling of potentially hazardous chemicals.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and reliability.
• Must be able to meet operational requirements.

The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and, when applicable, a vulnerable sector screening. Employment with Aramark will be conditional upon results deemed satisfactory by Aramark.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00.
