Senior Manager, Forecasting

Senior Manager leading US forecasting operations for an oncology brand within AstraZeneca's supply chain and analytics organization. The role develops product-specific forecasts, identifies market risks and opportunities, and partners cross-functionally to inform commercial strategy and guide senior leadership decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead US forecasting and business planning processes including scenario planning and finance integration for assigned brands
- Develop and maintain short-term and long-term product-specific forecast models using multiple data sources
- Identify key drivers and risks impacting product and market forecasts with clear communication to stakeholders
- Incorporate AI analytical tools into forecasting processes and support platform development
- Deliver analytical insights and presentations to senior leaders on brand performance and market developments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (engineering, data science, statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, operations research)
- 2+ years pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience in forecasting, analytics, consulting, or market research
- 2+ years biopharmaceutical forecasting experience building models and guiding business decisions
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical data sources (APLD, IQVIA, claims data) and epidemiological databases (SEER, Kantar, DRG)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to communicate insights to senior leaders
- Consultative and influencing capabilities with cross-functional collaboration experience
Compensation: $134,708-$176,000 base salary
