Global Relay Finance Director Position
Global Relay
Shape the financial landscape at Global Relay as the Finance Director. This maternity leave replacement will lead financial reporting, receivables, and payroll while ensuring compliance in British Columbia. As a crucial role reporting to the VP Finance, the Finance Director will manage the Finance & Accounting team and develop strategies that align with Global Relay's objectives. Your expertise will drive cost optimization and maintain strong internal controls, partnering with executive leadership to integrate finance with the overall business strategy. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies and policies
- Oversee financial reporting on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Manage billing and accounts receivable operations
- Ensure payroll compliance across different jurisdictions
- Collaborate on cash management and cross-department projects
- CPA or equivalent qualification
- 8+ years experience in accounting and finance
- 5+ years in finance leadership roles
- Familiarity with SaaS industry accounting practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
