Hello wonderful caregivers! We are seeking an exceptional Personal Support Worker (PSW) or experienced caregiver to join our household in the Clarkson area of Mississauga (Lakeshore Road & Southdown Road). This is a fulfilling role where you will be an essential part of our daily team. You'll be supporting me (a dynamic mother and lawyer with a physical disability), assisting with my energetic 8-year-old son, and joining a welcoming household that also includes my partner, Dawid. The Ideal Schedule: Ideally, we are looking for someone who can take on the following split-shift schedule, giving you the entire middle of the day free for yourself: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM & 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM Saturday: 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM Note: If you cannot commit to the exact ideal schedule above, please still reach out! We currently have immediate openings for Monday–Friday mornings, as well as Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons. Our shift times can vary over the summer, meaning we offer a highly adaptable schedule! Compensation & Location: Pay: $22.00 – ... / hour (depending on experience) Location: Clarkson, Mississauga Requirement: A reliable vehicle is necessary for this role (mileage reimbursement provided for job-related driving). Free parking on-site! Your Core Responsibilities: Personal Care: Assisting me with daily personal care and routine tasks. Child Care & Kitchen Teamwork: Supporting our fun 8-year-old with playtime, meal prep, and clean-up. (Note: You will be taking your daily direction and instructions primarily from me. However, Dawid runs the kitchen, so you will collaborate directly with him regarding meals and kitchen tidiness!) Light Housekeeping: Keeping the home tidy and handling general duties (including maintaining the cat litter box 🐈). The Ideal Candidate: Dependable & Adaptable: Punctual, reliable, and a quick learner with a "can-do" attitude. Great Communicator: An active listener who is attentive to instructions. Physically Capable: Able to handle daily physical tasks involving bending, lifting, and reaching.
