Key Responsibilities
Lead reservoir studies, including characterization, simulation, and performance analysis.
Develop and manage reservoir simulation models to forecast production and evaluate development scenarios.
Oversee reserve estimation and reporting processes.
Identify and recommend opportunities for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and production optimization.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior reservoir engineers.
Collaborate with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and production engineers on integrated field development plans.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management.
Ensure compliance with industry best practices and company standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas industry, with demonstrated leadership experience.
Advanced proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.G., ECLIPSE, INTERSECT, CMG).
Strong understanding of reservoir engineering principles, petrophysics, and geology.
Experience with economic analysis and reserve reporting.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, suitable for hybrid collaboration.
Ability to manage complex projects and prioritize effectively.
