Our public sector health client is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Architect to lead security architecture strategy using Azure Cloud, VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), and Microsoft Defender

Join a large-scale public sector health environment focused on securing enterprise platforms, systems, and data across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments. This role provides architectural leadership across Azure Cloud, VCF, and Microsoft Defender initiatives, including security roadmaps, standards, and reference architectures. The position supports enterprise-level security decision‑making, target-state architecture planning, and modernization of security capabilities.

This is a Security Domain Architect role: the successful candidate will own the cyber security domain, set strategic direction, and help the organization make technology decisions going forward. It is a strategic, advisory position with no operational or implementation responsibilities. The immediate priority is building out security domain roadmaps, including the roadmap methodology and facilitating roadmap development with stakeholders. The architect will work closely with solution and domain architects and will partner with a separate cyber security team as a stakeholder.
