Indigenous Education Teaching Assistant

McGill University

Support Indigenous Education at McGill University through marking, course preparation, and student learning assistance during the scheduled term.

This Teaching Assistant assignment serves EDEC 233-001/002 in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education. The work includes leading discussions, supervising projects, and providing feedback on presentations or coursework. The appointment totals 90 hours from December 21, 2026, through April 30, 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

Mark and grade course work
Prepare materials for Indigenous Education
Assist students with learning
Lead course discussions
Supervise projects and provide feedback

Requirements:

Be enrolled as a graduate student at McGill University
Demonstrate familiarity with course content
Communicate in spoken and written English
Spoken and written French is an asset
Attend Friday classes from 11:35 am to 2:25 pm
