Agilent seeks a Manager, Technical Operations to lead production teams and oversee manufacturing processes at its Windsor, Nova Scotia facility. The role involves supervising staff, conducting technology transfers, developing standard operating procedures, and collaborating across development and operations. Candidates require a bachelor's degree in engineering or chemistry, 10+ years of pharmaceutical experience, and prior leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage, train, and coach production staff team members
- Provide floor-level supervision, technical guidance, and corrective actions
- Facilitate alignment between Development and Operations through process validation runs
- Develop and approve standard operating procedures, training materials, and technical reports
- Support project inception through technology transfer completion and client visits
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Biochemistry
- 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
- 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience
- Technology transfer accomplishments in biotech or pharmaceutical settings
- Master's degree preferred
- API and drug product manufacturing experience valued
Compensation: $93,521–$146,126/year CAD plus bonus, stock, and benefits eligibility
