Compensation

The starting salary range for this position is $30.73 to $43.47 per hour, commensurate with skills, experience, and qualifications. With internal training, time, and career progression, hourly compensation may increase to a maximum of $51.21. Employees working the second shift receive an additional shift premium of $1.15 per hour. This position is also eligible for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding and plasma spray coatings on aerospace components.
• Work with high-temperature and corrosion-resistant alloys such as Titanium, Inconel, and Stainless Steel.
• Inspect, prepare, and weld engine components, casings, and critical structural elements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and aerospace repair work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, FAA, and EASA aerospace regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and inspectors to achieve the highest repair quality.
• Maintain 5S and safety protocols in the welding area.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in TIG welding, plasma spray, or aerospace component welding.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace alloys, including Titanium, Inconel, and other high-performance materials.
• Ability to work with thin-walled components, precision welds, and complex geometries.
• Certification in welding techniques (AWS, CWB, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-precision environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to aerospace-grade quality.

Language Requirements In Quebec

Intermediate level knowledge of English is necessary for aeronautical personnel to meet regulatory requirements, understand technical procedures and instructions, and document entries regarding work performed on the aeronautical product for customers outside Quebec.
