Staff Enterprise Ai Security Engineer

Protect affirm’s enterprise AI systems remotely with threat modeling, security architecture, and guardrails for agentic tools and LLM applications.As a Staff Security Engineer, you will run affirm’s end-to-end AI security review process. You will evaluate architectures, data flows, permissions, and designs while partnering with Security, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, IT, and Engineering. Your work will make AI adoption scalable and repeatable.Key Responsibilities:
Lead enterprise AI security reviews and embed requirements during designThreat model prompt injection, data poisoning, and sensitive-data exposureReview source code, prompts, configurations, and MCP manifestsBuild guardrails for permissions, authentication, monitoring, and policy-as-codeEvaluate AI capabilities in third-party SaaS vendor reviewsRequirements:
Hands-on AI/LLM security architecture experienceExperience securing agentic systems and MCP tool-calling frameworksPython or similar, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, and cloud servicesKnowledge of RAG, embeddings, fine-tuning, and tool useExperience leading cross-functional security initiatives to closureApply enterprise security architecture, threat modeling, Python, and AI guardrails to help affirm adopt AI safely.
