About Us: At Pit Stop Pros Kelowna, we are a trusted and growing automotive repair facility dedicated to providing top-notch service and support to our customers. With a strong reputation for excellence and a commitment to efficiency, we are looking for an experienced Parts Manager to lead our parts department and play a vital role in our shop's daily operations.
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Manager to oversee inventory management, supplier relations, and team coordination within our automotive service department. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automotive parts, strong leadership skills, and the ability to ensure our technicians have the parts they needwhen they need them.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the ordering, receiving, stocking, and issuing of automotive parts.
Maintain optimal inventory levels, minimizing overstock and reducing shortages.
Establish strong vendor relationships and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely availability of parts for scheduled repairs.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, sales, and inventory.
Supervise and train parts department staff.
Implement cost-control measures and drive departmental efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Parts Manager or similar role in an automotive or heavy equipment environment.
Strong understanding of vehicle systems and aftermarket/OEM parts.
Excellent inventory and supply chain management skills.
Proficient in using inventory software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Mitchell1, etc.).
Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
Valid driver's license.
