The City of Kamloops is seeking a temporary, full-time Communications Liaison – Co-Op Student to join our team. As a Communications Liaison – Co-Op Student, you’ll work alongside professionals delivering projects that help shape and improve our community. You’ll support communications across a variety of projects and audiences – helping translate technical and project information into communications that are clear, accessible, timely and engaging. The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in either communications, marketing, or business with a major in marketing.
- Excellent in-person and written communication skills.
- Valid Class 5 BC Drivers Licence, or equivalent.
This is a unionized position with CUPE Local 900; check out our for full details (ratified 2026 Collective Agreement coming soon). As this is a unionized position, all qualifications must be met in order to be shortlisted for the position.
$29.629 Hours & Days of Work
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Hours per Week
