Mainframe Developer with JCL Expertise

Join a diverse team as a Mainframe Developer in Toronto, ON, where you’ll leverage your JCL, Cobol, and data structure expertise to provide critical application support. Drive incident management and enhance performance across batch systems. As a Mainframe Developer, your focus is on supporting applications and managing incidents on Mainframe platforms. You will extract and manipulate data using DB2 and VSAM while developing SAS scripts for reporting. Building strong stakeholder communication is essential to fulfilling client needs effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Support applications on Mainframe platforms
- Manage critical batch system incidents efficiently
- Extract and manipulate data using DB2 and VSAM
- Develop SAS scripts for streamlined reporting
- Collaborate consistently with stakeholders
- Proficiency in JCL, ISPF, and z/OS
- Extensive Cobol programming experience required
- BFSI experience necessary
- Understanding of JMeter technology
- Proven background in client support
