Sourdough Baker

Job Responsibility:

Job Summary We are looking for someone to join our baking team. The preferred candidate will be responsible for producing a variety of breads, sandwiches, and pizzas while ensuring adherence to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

This role is open for someone with no experience or a veteran baker. Whether you wish to have a narrow range of responsibility or are interested in managing the kitchen, all options are available and negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
• Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
• Package finished products for display or sale, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their inquiries about products.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.

Experience

• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations are mandatory.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
• A passion for baking and creating delicious products that bring joy to others is a must.
• Ability to lift heavy bags (up to 25kg) is mandatory

Pay: $17.50-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 32 per week
