Part-time Salon Receptionist

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly upon arrival and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently.
• Handle client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism.
• Promote salon services and products through effective upselling techniques.
• Maintain an organized reception area and ensure all supplies are stocked.
• Process payments accurately using salon management software.
• Assist in maintaining client records and updating information as necessary.
• Collaborate with stylists to ensure smooth operations throughout the salon.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Experience in retail sales or technology sales is preferred.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and financial records.
• Ability to upsell services and products confidently to clients.
• Previous experience in a hair salon preferred.
• A positive attitude with a passion for the beauty industry.
