About the Role

We are looking for a creative, organized and motivated Social Media Coordinator to help manage and grow the online presence of our brands.

This is a hands-on content role. We aren't looking for someone to simply schedule posts-we want someone who can identify good content opportunities, create engaging photos, videos and graphics, and help tell the story of our products, people, customers and projects.

Our businesses operate in the professional concrete coatings, construction equipment and contractor supply industry. The ideal candidate doesn't need to come from our industry, but should be comfortable learning technical products and turning them into interesting, easy-to-understand content.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

• Manage day-to-day social media activity across Facebook, Instagram and other relevant platforms
• Develop and maintain a consistent posting schedule
• Create monthly and weekly content calendars
• Write captions and promotional copy
• Schedule and publish posts, stories and reels
• Help respond to comments, messages and customer engagement
• Maintain a consistent brand voice across multiple companies and locations

Content Creation

• Photograph products, equipment, store displays and events
• Shoot and edit short-form video for Reels, Stories and other social content
• Create clean, professional promotional graphics
• Develop product spotlights, new-product announcements and educational content
• Create content around promotions, sales and equipment packages
• Capture behind-the-scenes content from our stores, warehouse and team
• Work with contractors and customers to showcase completed projects and product applications
• Turn everyday activity within the company into useful and engaging social content

Marketing & Brand Support

• Help develop campaigns for product launches, promotions and company announcements
• Create marketing materials that support our retail locations and sales team
• Ensure logos, colours, fonts and messaging remain consistent
• Adapt content for multiple brands while maintaining each brand's individual identity
• Assist with email marketing and website content as required
• Coordinate marketing materials for new store openings, events and training days

Growth & Performance

• Monitor social media performance and engagement
• Track which types of content generate the strongest results
• Identify opportunities to increase followers, reach and engagement
• Keep up with relevant social media trends and platform changes
• Recommend new content ideas and campaigns
• Provide basic monthly reporting on social media performance

What We're Looking For

• Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook and short-form video
• Ability to create professional-looking graphics and marketing content
• Comfortable taking photos and shooting video
• Basic to intermediate video-editing skills
• Strong written communication and attention to detail
• Good eye for layout, branding and visual consistency
• Ability to manage multiple brands and projects at the same time
• Organized and capable of working independently
• Comfortable working around warehouses, contractors, construction equipment and industrial products
• Willingness to learn our products and industry

Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut or similar design/video software is an asset.

Previous experience in construction, coatings or industrial products is not required . We are more interested in finding someone who is creative, capable and willing to learn.

When a new shipment arrives, a piece of equipment is being demonstrated, a contractor sends us a great project photo, or a new product hits the shelves, we want someone who thinks:

You should be comfortable taking an idea from concept through to finished content and taking ownership of keeping our social channels active, professional and interesting.
