The centre offers a wide range of modalities, including float therapy (R.E.S.T.), infrared sauna, halotherapy, Himalayan salt therapy, ionic detox foot baths, somatic trauma therapy, Reiki, red light therapy, lymphatic drainage massage, registered massage therapy, osteopathy, and acupuncture. Clients can choose from both sensory reduction tanks and salt water relaxation float rooms designed for single or couples sessions. Role Description

The Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) will provide high-quality, client-centered therapeutic massage treatments to address pain, stress, and overall wellness needs. This contract, on-site role is based in Surrey, BC, working within a multidisciplinary wellness team to design and deliver individualized treatment plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough client assessments, maintaining accurate and confidential treatment records, and educating clients on home care, posture, and stress management techniques. The RMT will collaborate with other practitioners to support integrated care, uphold all professional and regulatory standards, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment. Additional duties include managing appointment schedules, ensuring treatment rooms are clean and prepared, and participating in occasional promotional or client education activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage to address a variety of musculoskeletal and wellness concerns.
• Experience or training in Shiatsu and Stress Management techniques to support relaxation and holistic care.
• Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and communicate treatment plans clearly.
• Current registration and good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia (CMTBC) or eligibility for registration.
• Valid professional liability insurance and compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards for RMTs in BC.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinic and to manage a varied caseload independently.
• Flexibility to work evenings or weekends based on client demand; prior experience in a wellness or spa environment is an asset.
• Lymphatic Drainage Certification and ICBC claims are additional preferred assets. We would be willing to pay for Lymphatic Drainage training.

We are ideally looking for someone preferably with a minimum of 1 year work experience, however a recent graduate would be considered, to take over our large waiting list of clients. We are ideally seeking someone who is passionate about holistic health who can offer ICBC treatments as well as Registered Lymphatic Drainage and who enjoys working as a team player. Any other additional health and wellness experience is an asset. Lymphatic Drainage training would be funded.

Minimum requirements include CMTBC certification and personal liability insurance.

WHAT WE OFFER

We are offering both part time (May and June) and full time (starting July 1) options ranging from 15-40 hours per week with varying shift availability. This is an ideal position if you are already working part time at another clinic and looking for supplemental hours or you are new to the community and looking for a new workplace home. We provide direct billing to our customers with most insurers, including ICBC.

We have a relaxing and healing space employing staff that all work together as a team. We have full time reception, Jane app with direct billing, various shift times and days available with part time and full time options. In house laundry, electric hydraulic table and marketing coverage. As a subcontractor, you will receive a 75/25 split with an hourly rate of $105/hour, 100% tips and you will be given a monthly wellness service free of charge (choice of float, sauna, salt therapy or foot bath). 20% discounts are also available on other practitioner services and products.

Salt will provide all of the necessary administrative work for direct billing, RMT supplies, cleaning supplies, staff for appointment bookings and payment, marketing and social media, janitorial requirements and office expenses. We also have ample free parking.
