Miller Paving is hiring a General Labourer - Microsurfacing , and this is your chance to turn your workday into a journey.
As part of our crews, you’ll travel across the province—working in communities big and small, from lakeside towns and scenic rural routes to vibrant cities and northern landscapes . The Micro Surfacing General Laborer supports daily field operations for micro surfacing projects. This role involves assisting crews with site setup, material handling, equipment support, and ensuring safe, efficient worksite practices. The role also involves hands-on, physically demanding work supporting active paving operations, with a strong focus on teamwork and maintaining production flow.
Responsibilities
- Wear, maintain, and adhere to all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with micro surfacing operations, including site setup, traffic control support, and end-of-day cleanup.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
- Support the paver crew with material delivery and general labour tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Assist with temporary line painting and roadway measurements.
- Follow all company safety protocols and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to perform physical labour and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Previous road construction experience is an asset but not required.
- Valid driver’s license preferred (DZ/AZ considered an asset).
Compensation
$24.00 - $31.00 per hour
