What will you do?

The Source Management Analyst is a critical role on the SCM Source Management (SM) Team. The successful candidate will possess a strong knowledge base in end-to-end supply chain source processes. They will be responsible for developing and improving key strategies to support source management operations as well as end-to-end inventory management topics throughout the entire supply chain, across multiple inventory warehousing locations. The role focuses on inventory accuracy, stock optimizations, risk assessments, material master data integrity, and material lifecycle management (EOL, LTB, phase-in/phase-out). The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Planning, Engineering, Strategic Procurement, Finance, and external partners to enable efficient supply chain performance and minimize financial and operational risks.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Analyze current state conditions to find optimization opportunities and improve material availability
• Develop and implement new strategies/processes to further enhance and improve SCM SM performance in a VUCA world
• Map out data-driven changes within the supply chain to lower total cost of ownership
• Provide sourcing strategies to meet inventory replenishment plans to support changes in demand

Material Lifecyle Management

• Support data-driven Last Time Buy (LTB) material evaluations and recommend necessary purchase quantities to reduce business and financial risk exposures in End Of Life (EOL) situations
• Provide Supply Chain guidance as part of a cross-functional team, including Product Management, Engineering, and Finance on LTB decisions
• Track and manage component/finished good transitions (Phase in/Phase out of new and obsolete parts)
• Assess inventory exposure during product transitions and recommend actions to minimize business and financial risks

Inventory Management

• Recommend actions to reduce excess materials and optimize inventory levels to meet financial metrics
• Monitor, analyze and manage inventory levels and agreements across multiple internal and external warehousing locations
• Identify risk drivers such as forecast changes, EOL status, excess liabilities and implement risk reduction measures to minimize financial exposure
• Responsible for maintaining optimal safety stock levels for all commodities to support fluctuations in demand
• Responsible for execution of inventory transfers, scrapping, and disposition decisions f. Provide data-driven analysis for regular inventory review meetings

Assets:

• Ensure implementation of material master data settings in SAP (MRP, MOQ, leadtime, etc.) to support changes in demand
• Ensure close collaborative alignment with cross-functions (Engineering/Product Management/Finance/Operations/Strategic Procurement/External vendors/Global Factory Network)
• Align supply chain processes to improve deliverables to both internal and external customers
• Provides business/process-relevant guidance and training to colleagues

What will you need to succeed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or materials planning (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with SAP (MM, PP, MRP) strongly preferred
• Understanding of inventory lifecycle management (EOL, phase-in/out, LTB)
• Brings extensive knowledge and know-how, including technical, commercial, and functional supply chain experience
• Functional expert that provides support and guidance in supply chain methodologies at both local and global levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data management
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Salary : Salary is commensurate with experience, and base salary ranges between $ 77,000 CAD - $ 100,000 CAD, excluding benefits.
