At Lycopodium, you will lead the Drafting & Design team in producing detail 3D designs and general arrangement drawings. This role requires a strong understanding of fabrication techniques in the materials handling industry, alongside experience in managing multi-discipline design resources effectively. Your contributions will directly impact project deliverables, as you resolve disputes and oversee design compliance with relevant standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop man-hour budgets and design schedules
- Facilitate design reviews and project stages
- Review vendor certified drawings and design data
- Manage multi-discipline design resources effectively
- Support other team members to meet project deadlines
- Degree or Diploma in Design and Drafting
- Over 15 years of relevant industry experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to mentor junior engineers
- Understanding of relevant Australian and International Standards
