Position Information Position Title CRM Analyst and Administrator Position Summary The CRM Analyst and Administrator provides overall system administration and support for the Slate CRM. The primary objective is to maximize the efficiency of the CRM while maintaining data integrity and security. This position provides technical expertise, support and training to stakeholders (e.g. Admissions staff) aimed at improving the applicant experience. The position collaborates with the Office of the Registrar, Information Technology Services, and Marketing and Communications to make operational improvements in support of strategic enrolment management objectives. Position Responsibilities- Build, test, and manage the functionality of Slate including, but not limited to, email/SMS communications, event management, application processing, queries and portal management.
- Provide technical expertise on functionality of Slate.
- Research and propose improvements or best practice for existing or new business processes.
- Plan and execute ongoing development and implementation of new functionality.
- Develop, modify and maintain complex queries, reports, and dashboards to support enrolment management.
- Lead integrations between Slate and other systems.
- Lead and maintain integrations of data with an external client to the Banner ERP from Slate and Slate to Banner.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create and test new processes.
- Compile admission data to evaluate results from recruitment initiatives.
- Create and manage queries and reports to analyze key admission metrics and trends..
- Collaborate with other departments/stakeholders to identify data and reporting needs to inform decision making.
- Provide day-to-day direction to stakeholders.
- Lead Slate upgrades and address technical issues
- Manage and maintain the admissions application for each admission intake.
- Develop and deliver training sessions to stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective use of Slate.
- Assess requests and usage of Slate and collaborate with stakeholders to improve engagement with, and conversion of, applicants. ·
- Create and maintain policy and procedures for access to the CRM.
- Configure and customize the Slate environment to meet institutional needs including creation and management of user accounts, permissions, and roles.
- Monitor compliance with access to, and use of, data and information.
- Perform regular audits and data integrity checks for accurate and up-to-date information. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as required.
- Experience with Slate, Banner Student Information System, and Cognos Reporting required.
- Experience with developing complex system queries.
- Experience providing technical support and training to staff in the use of integrated systems required.
- Experience working in post-secondary education specifically within an Office of the Registrar.
- Experience with admission processes required.
- Experience managing projects with system wide impacts.
- Experience with Office Co-Pilot including advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and application of creative solutions to issues presented
