Job Responsibility:
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Department Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the efficiency of our department. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with excellent organizational skills and a passion for team management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of department employees- Develop and implement training programs for staff development- Oversee departmental budgets, including payroll and expenses- Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process- Maintain inventory levels and monitor pricing strategies- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any escalated issues- Utilize math skills for budgeting and financial analysis- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette in all communications- Multilingual abilities are a plus for diverse customer interactions
Requirements:
- Proven experience in department management or related field- Strong leadership and team management skills- Knowledge of clerical duties such as record-keeping and data entry- Ability to make strategic buying decisions to optimize department performance- Proficiency in training development and employee performance evaluation- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members

Pay: $24.00-$26.50 per hour
