Lead IFRS reporting and financial operations as a Financial Controller in Downtown Vancouver, working fully on-site across Canadian and US operations.This permanent, full-time Financial Controller reports to the Senior Director, Finance. You will lead accounting professionals, oversee reporting, and strengthen controls. The role combines CPA-level accounting expertise, people leadership, and process improvement within a publicly traded, direct-to-consumer retail organization.Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop three accounting professionalsOversee closes, consolidations, IFRS reporting, and financial statementsStrengthen controls, policies, reconciliations, and audit readinessCoordinate audits, reviews, MD&A, filings, and executive reportingChampion automation, process improvements, and scalable financial systemsRequirements:
9+ years of progressive accounting experienceCPA designation and demonstrated people leadershipAdvanced IFRS and public company reporting expertiseCanadian and US tax knowledge with consolidation experienceStrong communication, judgment, and stakeholder management skillsApply your IFRS, consolidation, controls, and leadership expertise to strengthen financial reporting across Canadian and US operations.
