Director of Investment Operations Hybrid Role

Join CAAT Pension as a Director of Investment Operations with a hybrid work model based in Toronto. Champion the integrity of investment processes across a diverse portfolio valued at $25 billion. In this crucial role, you will supervise teams focused on investment accounting, fund administration, and financial reporting. You will collaborate with multiple departments to streamline operations and support effective decision-making. Your ability to analyze and present complex investment-related issues will be instrumental in achieving benchmarks and ensuring regulatory compliance as the organization expands its portfolio. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee accounting and custody processes for investments
Champion operational excellence in investment teams
Ensure tax compliance for investment-related entities
Conduct governance and performance reporting for stakeholders
Implement continuous improvements in processes and technology

Requirements:

10+ years in investment operations or finance
Experience in institutional asset management advantageous
Deep understanding of investment accounting and controls
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Professional designations (CPA, CFA, etc.) preferred
