We're Hiring - Network Analyst

We are looking for a highly skilled Network Analyst to join an Enterprise Networks team responsible for supporting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing corporate and SCADA network infrastructures. In this role, you will play a key part in the administration, implementation, design, and continuous improvement of LAN/WAN environments while ensuring network performance, security, reliability, and scalability.

This position is ideal for a network professional with strong experience in network administration, architecture, and enterprise network operations, including both on-premises and cloud networking environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, implement, troubleshoot, and document enterprise network infrastructure.
• Design and execute network architecture improvements and modernization initiatives.
• Provide advanced technical support, engineering, and administration for network devices and services.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Manage network disaster recovery planning, implementation, maintenance, and testing.
• Support network change management and maintain system integrity through established processes.
• Deploy network equipment updates and enhancements following organizational standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and secure networking solutions.
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and network security best practices.
• Participate in project initiatives involving new network technologies and infrastructure deployments.
• Stay current with emerging networking trends, technologies, and certifications.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to address network-related concerns and provide technical guidance.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of recent hands-on experience in network administration, analysis, and design/architecture.
• Strong expertise with Spine-Leaf data center architectures , including VXLAN and BGP EVPN .
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF .
• Extensive experience with Cisco networking solutions , including routers, switches, and CLI platforms (IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS).
• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls, switches, access points, and security tools including:
• FortiManager
• FortiAnalyzer
• FortiNAC
• Experience managing Azure networking services, including:
• Virtual Networks (VNets)
• VNet Peering
• Route Tables
• Front Door
• Web Application Firewall (WAF)
• Network Security Groups (NSGs)
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) networking.
• Experience configuring and managing load balancers and web application firewalls .
• Strong understanding of enterprise network security principles and best practices.
• Experience implementing network technologies within enterprise technology projects.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in multidisciplinary team environments.
• Understanding of hybrid network environments integrating on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with LTE and satellite communication technologies is an asset.
• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and Change Management processes.
• Experience working with SCADA networks is highly desirable.
• Previous experience with government, Crown corporations, utility, energy, or oil & gas organizations in North America is considered an asset.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of recent practical experience in network administration and network architecture/design.
• Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver’s License (or equivalent).
