Vista Railing Systems is a private equity backed, North American leader in designing, manufacturing and distributing external aluminum railing systems for residential, multifamily high‑rise and commercial applications. The company sells into both the Canadian and US retail and developer/ contractor channels. Vista has built a stellar reputation based on quality, innovation, ease of installation and service.
The plant, situated in Maple Ridge delivers a unique combination of batch production, custom fabrication, and high‑volume product flow. The facility has aluminum processing, cutting, fabrication, welding, powder coating, assembly stations. Recent investments include automated laser cutting equipment and the implementation of SAP Business One and other modernization initiatives.
With growth at the core of the company’s strategic plan, Vista is looking to recruit a talented, systems thinking, Production Manager with superb leadership skills. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in modernizing and streamlining manufacturing operations while enhancing the company's people‑centric culture that is core to their success and contributes to high retention levels. Reporting to the CEO and as a member of the leadership team the Production Manager will be given the mandate to drive innovation through a team of supervisors and approximately 60 manufacturing employees. Success will be measured based on improving operational performance, advancing continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing manufacturing systems and recruiting, mentoring and developing the next generation of manufacturing supervisors and managers.
The ideal candidate is a manufacturing leader who has enhanced performance and efficiency through the adaptation of Lean manufacturing principles, highly effective SOP’s and the adaptation of technology and automation. They combine systems thinking with a commitment to building empowered and motivated teams.
