Finance Consultant – 3 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Responsible for day-to-day accounting including A/R, A/P and preparing of financial statements
• Prepares reports and analyzes variances, identifying risks making corrective action recommendations
• Reviews invoices and authorize payments, accounts payable and receivables for the entire organization
• Preparing and posting of journal entries for all transactions
• Reviewing current processes and provide recommendations for improvements
• Coordinate and manage annual audit by preparing necessary audit working paper files
• Provide financial support for other project and initiatives through completion of ad hoc analysis and reports

About You

• Must have/nice to have
• Skills Canadian professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA)
• 5-10 years’ experience within a Finance Manager or above role
• Able to be very hands on (ie. Posting journal entries within A/R, A/P, bank etc.)
• Advanced skills with MS Excel, Office 365
• Experience with Dynamics 365

Pay Rate
$60.00/Hour
